Audience award at the Next Award 2023

The netsome founding team won the final of the Next Award 2023 of the Economic Development Agency of the City of Düsseldorf the Audience Award and was thus able to secure an overall Prize money of 3,000 euros. 

The Next Award is an annual Competition for young companies of the city of Düsseldorf. The Jury in the final consisted of experts and entrepreneurs from Düsseldorf from Deloitte, KPMG, High-Tech Gründerfonds, O.C. Hairsystems and Stadtwerke Düsseldorf.

After registering for the competition, there was a Preselection of the participating teams. The 8 selected teams were allowed to work together within the framework of Workshops with experts on topics such as pitching or marketing strategy to further develop and promote their idea or company. 

On the basis of a revised pitch deck and a submitted business plan, the 4 finalist teams nominated by the jury. After another, but this time individual, Pitch training the netsome team and the other teams were able to prepare for the final. Lennard and Stefan also used the potential to further improve the netsome pitch and were allowed to compete in the final on 18.10.2023. Final then represent netsome.

The two were able to Audience in the vote then from netsome convince and secured in the 5-minute pitch the prize money for their company.
